Early records of the name mention Thomas ap Eigon, County Gloucester, 1273. Thomas Baynham, was recorded as the High Sheriff of Gloucester in 1476. Richard Baynham and Frances Griffith were married at St. George's, Hanover Square, London in the year 1738.
